Making the MVNO Model work Outline of how existing non-telco retail businesses can use the MVNO model to sell additional services to their customers. Customers who currently don't have transactional billing systems will need to upgrade their billing applications, or purchase 'billing' as a managed service. The use of a 'virtual network enabler' could be extended to include other networks (ISP, fixed voice, VoIP). By hiding the identity of the network operator, a sophisticated network enabler could change between different underlying networks to supply the virtual service. (Bandwidth Magazine)
